Sharon M. Shea

June 19, 1948 - March 14, 2022

Sharon Marie (Lothamer) Shea, 73, passed away on March 14, 2022, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Dorothy (O'Shaughnessey) Lothamer. She attended St. Louis Besancon Catholic School, Bishop Luers High School, Indiana Vocational Technical College, and International Business College. She resided at Cedars Nursing Home Leo, and was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Fort Wayne. She retired from Lutheran Hospital after 33 years. Sharon enjoyed playing bingo, reading, crocheting, and shopping at thrift stores. She especially loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Kim (John) Richards and Karen Shea; siblings, David, Dennis, and Ronald Lothamer, Barbara (Robert) Forest, Mary Rauscher and Nancy Dunn; granddaughters, Macy, Morgan, Kelsey and Kylee; and great grandchildren, Kenzie and Kaige. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Rita Marie Lothamer and Kathleen Filler. Mass of Christian Burial is 1 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2022, at St. Vincent De Paul Catholic Church, 1502 E Wallen Rd, Fort Wayne with visitation one hour prior. There will also be a rosary at 11:30 a.m. the day of service. In lieu of flowers, preferred memorials are to St. Charles Catholic Church or Masses.
