Virginia Lee Brames, 86, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Parkview Hospital – Randallia, Fort Wayne. Born in New Haven, she was the daughter of the late Sebastian and Amelia (Bruder) Ehinger. She was a member of St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, New Haven and was a Eucharistic Minister and Secretary of Parrish. She was employed at Mill Supplies for 19 years and went on to Three Rivers Industrial Supplies, Inc. eight years. Virginia enjoyed golf, gardening, cooking and western square dancing. She is survived by her siblings, Julia (Walter) Trabert of Columbia City and Carl (Naureen) Ehinger of New Haven; brother-in-law, Paul Mourey of New Haven; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Ivan in 2013; and sisters, Marcella Scheiner and Charlotte Mourey. Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, 15535 Lincoln Hwy E., New Haven with calling one hour prior to service. Father Steve Colchin officiating. Calling is also 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New. Haven with a vigil service at 7:30 p.m. Burial in St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Masses or the American Heart Foundation.
