View Video Tribute Naomi Ruth Strabbing, 90, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at home with her family by her side. Born in Antigo, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Jerry and Kathryn Sires. She was a member of St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, New Haven and the rosary sodality. She worked as a bridal seamstress for over 20 years. She is survived by her children, Lynn (Robert) Durkin of McCordsville, Janet (Ken) Rauch and Christine (Dave) Ottenweller both of New Haven, Robert (Linda) Strabbing of Churubusco, Thomas (Katie) Strabbing of Ankeny, IA, Patricia Nichols of Fort Wayne, and Mary Strabbing-Gump of Huntertown; 25 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; and 4 great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Strabbing in 1988; son, Timothy Strabbing; brother, Thomas Sires; grandson, Nicholas Gump; great grandson, Jacob Berger; and son-in-law, Dan Nichols. Prayers are 9 a.m. Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven followed by a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church, 15535 Lincoln Hwy, New Haven. Father Stephen Colchin officiating. Calling is also 1 to 6 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with a 6 p.m. rosary. Burial in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne. Preferred memorials are to St. Louis Besancon Catholic Church or Parkview Home Health and Hospice.
