Hubert Ray Pensinger

Hubert Ray Pensinger, 99, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2022, at Heritage Pointe of Fort Wayne. Born in Pennville, he was the son of the late Leslie and Nell (Ireland) Pensinger. He served his country in the US Air Force, flying 65 missions during World War II and was a Purple Heart recipient. He was a member of New Haven United Methodist Church where he was an usher. He was the owner operator of Pensinger Jewelers for over 30 years. He was also a member of Kiwanis for 30 years and the Watch Makers Guild for several years in the Fort Wayne area. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed gardening. He found great joy in hosting many family events. He is survived by his son, Larry (Cheryl) Pensinger of Harbor Springs, MI; twin daughters, Judy (Paul Jr) Milliman of Fort Wayne and Trudy Wise of Florida; seven grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 66 years, Marjory (McCrady) Pensinger; and siblings, Donn Pensinger and Maxine Melching. Funeral service is 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2022, at New Haven United Methodist Church, 630 Lincoln Hwy E, New Haven with visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2022, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in the IOOF Cemetery, New Haven with military honors.
