Eileen Virginia Dager

April 14, 1940 - May 30, 2022

Eileen "Penny" Virginia Dager, 82, passed away on Monday, May 30, 2022, at home with her family by her side. Born in Allen Park, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Victor and Lucille (Bolton) Vincent. She was a member of Lifeway Wesleyan Church, New Haven. She worked for Dager Auto Parts and retired from Waynedale Foot Clinic working under Dr. Chubinski. She was also a member of American Legion Post 330 Auxiliary and Moose Lodge 1480. She had a pastime of boating and fishing on the lakes in Florida with her husband. She enjoyed Elvis, animals, flower gardening, helping people, being with family, and being a caregiver. She always had a smile on her face for everyone. She is survived by her children, James "Jimmy" Dager, Dede (Nick) Scalzo, Sharon (Rick) Yoder, and Jerry (Kay) Dager; grandchildren; Rachel, Kyle, Luke, Taylor, Maria, Billy, Angela, Gerald, Tina, Heather, Renee, Jerry Jr, Tony, and Bobby; 24 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; dear friend, Michelle Lewis and her son, Michael. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dager in 1988; and son, Gary Dager in 2009. uneral service is 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with visitation one hour prior (9-10 am). Visitation is also 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at the funeral home. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to the family, c/o James Dager.
