Edward "Squeeky" DeLucenay

Edward Nicholas “Squeeky” DeLucenay, 83, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2016 at home. Born in Summit, IN, he was the son of the late Eugene and Margaret (Miller) DeLucenay. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, New Haven and the Holy Name Society. The US Army veteran served his country during the Korean War and was member of Navy Club Ship 245, New Haven, American Legion Post 330, and Moose Lodge 1480. He retired in 1995 from Hagerman Construction after 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Phyllis; children, Michael (Janie) DeLucenay of New Haven, Scott (Mary Ann) DeLucenay of Rochester, NY, Cheryl Wolf of Fort Wayne, and Keith (Cynthia) DeLucenay of Norfolk, VA; brother, Eugene (Nancy) DeLucenay of Ashley, 11 grandchildren; and 13 great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one sister, four brothers and son in law, Todd Wolf. Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 943 Powers St., New Haven with calling half hour prior to service. Father Bill Sullivan officiating. Calling is also 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven with vigil service at 3:45 p.m. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to Cancer Services of Northeast Indiana or Parkview Hospice.
