Donald "Don" D. Brennan

Donald “Don” D. Brennan, 89, passed away Sunday, May 7, 2017 at home with his family by his side. Born in Wren, Ohio he was the son of the late Edward and Lucille (Gephart) Brennan. He retired from Norfolk and Southern after 42 years. Don enjoyed bowling, fishing, and Notre Dame football. A family man, he loved spending time with his grandchildren, especially watching them play sports. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Betty; children, Maria Brennan of Fort Wayne, Terry (Julie) Brennan of Tuscon, AZ, and Tim (Karen) Brennan of Edmonds, WA; half-siblings, David (Jackie) Lillich of Granger, Alice (Mike) Adams of Fort Wayne, and Judy (Jim) Bauerle of Carmel; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren with one on the way. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Elzey and Richard Brennan. Private services at the conveniences of the family. Family to receive friends 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E., New Haven. Burial in IOOF Cemetery, New Haven. Preferred memorials are to St. Mary’s Soup Kitchen or Fort Wayne Rescue Ministries.
