    Donald E. Bulmahn

    October 16, 1928 - October 29, 2021

    Donald E. Bulmahn, 93, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021, at Parkview Hospital - Randallia, Fort Wayne. Born in Hereford, Texas, he was the son of the late Martin and Amalia (Bienz) Bulmahn. He was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church, New Haven. He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War and was a member of American Legion Post 330. He retired in 1987 from Phelps Dodge after 41 years. He enjoyed golfing, IU sports, Detroit Tiger baseball, and gardening. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Ann; sons, David Bulmahn of Sandwich, IL, Stanley Bulmahn of New Haven, and Douglas (Tina) Bulmahn of Churubusco; granddaughters, Anna, Emma, and Amalia Bulmahn; and siblings, Martin Bulmahn of Washington Island, WI, Richard Bulmahn of Carmel, Katherine Bohnke of Kokomo, Evelyn Shaver of Visalia, CA, and Ruth Evans of New Haven. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Robert and Edward Bulmahn. Funeral service is 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 800 Green St, New Haven visitation one hour prior. Visitation is also 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Harper's Community Funeral Home, 740 St. Rd. 930 E, New Haven. Burial in the church cemetery with military honors. Preferred memorials are to Worship Anew.
