I also met Lisa in the ER. She was always an excellent nurse and friend. She could be counted on to bring her wine to the annual canoe trip and we shared a fun filled day at the lake that I will remember always. My children still talk about the fun they had. I remember Lisa as a skinny little sister of my best friend. Even at such a young age Lisa had a compassion you could see clearly in her eyes. She always had a smile on her face no matter where I would run into her (especially at the dreaded grocery store)!. " Party at Lisa's house." She was so open and giving of herself and her home. Showers, birthdays, special anniversaries and so much more. To her family my heart is breaking for you, but is also rejoicing in the love you all share with each other and with Lisa. You were very blessed to have her as a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. God bless you all.

I met Lisa when I worked as a paramedic for TRAA for 10 + years. She always was truly attentive in listening to my reports to hand off patient care. Recently, I transitioned to a paramedic dispatcher with Parkview. She was like talking to family when she would call to set up a transport for one her patient's. Her son was a good friend to my niece and her husband. My deepest condolences to her family and friends. Godspeed my friend!!
I met Ott in the ER a little over 5 years ago. My first ER job, my first week at Parkview. Lisa was one of the most compassionate and genuine nurses I have ever worked along side. She helped me on many occasions and always giving great advice. She has earned her wings more than once. Fly high Ott and may you rest now. Dear family: just know how much she loved you, bragging always and flashing pictures. May you feel her love and find peace.

I am so sorry for your loss. I want to thank you for sharing her with us. My husband and I adored Lisa. In the past 5 years of his life my husband, Wayne was in the Parkview ER over 100 times. At times he had life threatening illnesses. Lisa treated him on many occasions. She was a consummate professional, always doing everything in her power to see that his treatment went well. She was always kind and always remembered us from one visit to the next. She treated us with dignity and respect. Due to our faith there were often friends, pastors and elders with us. Lots of praying occurred over the years and she would stop and let it happen and often joined us. Having lost a mother and a husband in the past two years I know that no words can take away the pain. After four months of grieving for my husband I have learned to feel the feelings. I pray for peace for you all. Bless you, Marty Temple
